Partner With UsDevelopment Ministry Mission StatementPresentation Sisters’ Development ministry is missioned to present and represent the mission and ministries of the Presentation Sisters. This office implements the development agenda of the President and Leadership Council collaborating with the Sisters, Team Directors, lay advisors and volunteers. High priority is given to inviting other people to join the Sisters in their mission.
Gifts in Action
In Zambia, Sister has focused her time and energy on assessing the needs of the people. As these needs emerge, she works with her congregation and the development office to find means to meet these needs. Sister Virginia's ministry is the focus of our annual Sacred Heart Mailing for 2008. After eight years of service as president of the congregation, Sister Virginia McCall spent a year studying and experiencing a service to those in need all over the world. In late 2007, however, she felt called back to ministry in one of those places she had visited, Zambia, Africa.
We have certainly experienced what one can read in the book of Proverbs: “Honor God with your wealth and you will be blessed in return.” We chose to contribute to the mission and ministries of the Presentation Sisters, by means of a deferred gift annuity, because we believe in and wish to support the kind of work in which they are involved. Our contributions, when invested with the Sisters who are organized and in a position to address the issues of justice and the needs of the less fortunate, can accomplish far more than we can achieve on our own in those areas.
