The
Presentation Sisters Rural Ministry evolved from a
congregational decision in 2001. This decision called for
the creation of an outreach ministry in South Dakota for rural
people. After much research and discernment, the Timber Lake,
S.D., area was chosen to begin this ministry in 2003. Ministry
provided will depend on the needs identified in the area.
These needs include helping people to develop skills in youth
ministry, faith formation for youth and their parents, liturgical
and religious education planning, visiting the homebound,
and providing leadership for community development. For more
