Biography:

Sister Agnes Marie graduated from the Sioux Falls School of Practical Nursing and received an associate degree in long-term care. She became a certified gerontologist through the Gerontology Association for Training and Education and later completed the expanded role of the LPN from the South Dakota Board of Nursing. Sister spent over 30 years serving in hospitals and nursing homes in Aberdeen, Mitchell, Sioux Falls, Milbank and Pierre. In recent years, she also served as an instructor for nursing assistant certification classes, and served a sacristan and Eucharistic minister at Mother Joseph Manor. Sister Agnes Marie made many tied fleece quilts for family, friends, needy families and whoever might have need for a warm blanket.
