Biography:

For over 47 years Sister Maris Stella taught elementary students in South Daktoa and Minnesota. She also served as principal in several parish schools. After leaving the traditional classroom, Sister began to tutor individuals in the literacy program, a ministry she continued for many years. Sister also served in the altar bread ministry for 12 years and was a foster grandparent. She corresponded with several prisoners in locations throughout the United States.
