Biography:

Sister Mary Irene received training as a charge nurse from Presentation Junior College and worked as a geriatric nurse at Holy Rosary Hospital, Miles City, MT for 15 years before returning to South Dakota. From 1976-1997 she served in pastoral care in South Dakota at various hospitals after which she began volunteering at (Avera) Brady Memorial Home and (Avera) Queen of Peace Hospital in Mitchell, SD. In 2005 she moved to Aberdeen, where she continues to serve in prayer ministry. Her experience as a Presentation Sister has helped her to find God's guidance in her religious life. Through service, she has seen the faithful show through their words and actions that they follow God.
