Biography:

Sister Olive graduated from St. Luke’s School of Nursing, Aberdeen, SD as a Registered Nurse and completed Pediatric and Obstetric Surgical Training at St. Joseph Hospital, Springfield, IL. She served in health care ministry as a Floor Nurse at Presentation hospitals and nursing homes in Aberdeen and Mitchell, SD as well as in Miles City, MT. Sister also worked at the Presentation Children’s Home, Sioux Falls, SD and as a Convent Nurse in Aberdeen, SD. Sister Olive acted as Eucharistic Minister at( Avera) St. Luke’s Hospital, several nursing homes, Presentation Convent and many of the homebound in Aberdeen, SD. Sister Olive volunteered with Meals on Wheels and as Organist at area nursing homes. She is currently serving in full time prayer ministry at Presentation Convent, Aberdeen, SD. “I have loved my work, and I am truly grateful to Almighty God for each day I have been able to be of service especially to families and children,” Sister Olive commented.
