Biography:

After receiving secretarial training at Presentation Junior College, Sister Teresita worked as a bookkeeper in Presentation hospitals and healthcare centers in Mitchell and Aberdeen, SD.

She also worked with children at the Presentation Children's Home, Sioux Falls, SD. Sister then served in the libraries of schools in Dell Rapids, SD, and Miles City, MT.

Sister Teresita earned a bachelor's in education from Northern State College in 1971, and taught at the Aberdeen Catholic schools for the next nine years. In 1980, Sister Teresita began 16 years of parish ministry at St. Joseph Parish, Mobridge, SD and later at St. Thomas Parish and the Dakota State University Newman Center, Madison, SD. Sister currently volunteers at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital and at Presentation Convent.
