As we approach the Feast of the Sacred Heart on June 27, we pray that you experience the boundless love flowing from the Heart of Jesus. On this special feast, may we be reminded that nothing can separate us from His steadfast and enduring love.

Each day, we are invited to follow Jesus’ example: to live with compassionate hearts, extending love to our families, our neighbors, our Earth. Believing in the sacredness of everything and everyone, may we cherish all with actions of love and acceptance.

“All of us can cooperate as instruments of God for the care of creation, each according to his or her own culture, experience, involvements and talents.” Laudato Si’ 14

Inspired by Pope Francis’ Laudato Si’ encyclical, we continue to cultivate and nurture the Prairie Restoration Project at Presentation Heights. This effort reminds us that everything entrusted to us is sacred … the soil, the water and air, the animals, the grasses and wildflowers and all who will walk upon this green space connecting deeply with our Creator. We are called to cherish and protect all, preserving the gift of creation for generations to come.

Together, let us respond with a spirit of simplicity and hospitality to all people and to all creation. The cry of the Earth and the cry of the poor urge us onward in the mission of Jesus, to help bring forth a just and sustainable world founded on respect for Earth, universal human dignity, economic justice and a culture of peace.

We are grateful for your continued partnership in the compassionate mission of Jesus. We invite you to join us in our Laudato Si’ efforts of land restoration, education and advocacy. CLICK HERE TO LEARN MORE

Tend to the Sacredness
in your Heart

We invite you to take a moment to ponder all the gifts from our Creator and reflect on what is sacred in your own heart:

  • What nurtures the garden of your heart?
  • How are you tending to what your heart truly needs?

The outside photo of the provided insert is from the Land Restoration Project at Presentation Heights. The inside provides a place for you to add your own color of serenity. May your heart find love and joy as you take a moment to pause and tend to the sacredness in your own heart.

Come, walk the land and feel the beauty of God.

Everything is related, and we human beings are united as brothers and sisters on a wonderful pilgrimage, woven together by the love God has for each of his creatures and which also unites us in fond affection with brother sun, sister moon, brother river and mother earth. Laudato Si’ 92
