In Remembrance of the 40th Anniversary of the Martyrdom of the Four Churchwomen

Forty years ago today, on December 2, 1980, four women gave their lives for the sake of the people living in El Salvador. Dorothy Kazel, OSU, Maura Clarke, MM, Ita Ford, MM and Jean Donovan served as missionaries during this country’s civil war. May their selfless sacrifice to work for peace and justice, inspire and strengthen us as we work together for all of God’s beloved community.
